Rajini’s fan base is global. Wherever there are Indians the superstar has a following. But for a lot of his fans, Rajini is not just a megastar he is a living legend. And if Amitabh Bachchan, SRK and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have their replicas at Madame Tussauds, can Rajini be far behind? His fans have now appealed to the authorities at Madame Tussaud’s wax museum in London to place his life-size wax replica in the collection. Any star that has a fan following on a global basis has their wax look-alike at the museum, including every leading Hollywood star and every pop icon. The stature of Madame Tussaud is such, that celebrities consider it a privilege to have their wax statues on display there. Most visitors are struck by the amazing likeness of these statues to the real people – it is almost eerie!
The die-hard Rajini fans are hurt that Sivaji, the boss has not yet been considered. So now, they have themselves approached the museum officials with their request. Seeing their dedication, Madame Tussaud’s management has struck a deal with them. An online signature petition is underway, requesting Rajini's fans to vote for the installation of their hero’s wax statue at Madam Tussaud's museum.
If there is an adequate response to this petition, the museum authorities will willingly install his mannequin.
