The new Nokia N-82 ,the first multimedia mobile phone optimized for photography, navigation and internet connectivity has been released in India. The Nokia N-82 is designed to offer photography enthusiasts an enhanced and cool camera experience.

Thanks to this wireless broad band connectivity, convergence and increased performance, the Nokia N82 is all people need in their hands!” said Vineet Taneja, Business Director, Multimedia, Nokia India.
The Nokia N-82 Candy Bar mobile phone features A GPS with pre installed Nokia Maps. The standard sales kit of Nokia N82 comes with a free voice guided navigation trial for upto 3 months; however the users can purchase some additional features, such as city guides and longer navigation scheme subscription. It’s also equipped with a 5- mega-pixel auto-focus camera with a dual Xenon flash, and Carl Zeiss optics. There’s also a second VGA camera in front for video calling purposes. The N82 comes with a 2GB micro-SD card in addition to having 100 MB of internal memory. With regards to the connectivity the N82 features WiFi, EDGE 3G with HSDP A, Blue-tooth with A2DP and microUSB for PC connectivity.
It has some difference from others - iPhone-like gyroscopic screen rotation
If the device is flipped then screen automatically moves to the landscape mode. It also comes with an integrated stereo FM radio, an MP3- player of course and a TV out. If necessary one can also use their own set of earphones or headphones as it incorporates a 3.5mm earphone socket.
The Nokia N82 is finally available in our Indian market and is priced at Rs. 28,379/-.
